Skills Institute Approved to Deliver CPD Training for Real Estate Professionals

Skills Institute has been approved by the Real Estate Authority (REA) as an official provider of Real Estate Verifiable CPD for industry professionals, with delivery kicking off in January 2026.

"Generally speaking, CPD is often seen as a compliance requirement, rather than a learning and development opportunity," says Skills Group Director of Vocational Training and Higher Education Mark Worsop. "Skills Institute aims to change all that by providing CPD that is interactive, relevant, and genuinely useful in day-to-day practice."

Skills Institute will offer the 10 hours of verifiable CPD required annually through multiple, flexible learning formats such as:

• Face-to-face workshops
• Online modules 

Proven Track Record 

Skills Institute trained more than 1,000 real estate professionals in 2025 through its New Zealand Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) and partners with major agencies including Harcourts and Barfoot & Thompson.
